I am so excited y’all! I have a couple of spring weddings to attend this year!

As I started writing this post, it occurred to me that most of y’all have only really seen my face- well guess what?! I am not a size 2… shock and awe.  I am a healthy size 10/12 and even while I wince a bit to admit that, I realize I shouldn’t.  I’ve had two beautiful babies and continue to work to get healthier but more importantly work to be more comfortable in my own skin!

So why should I dread putting on a pretty dress and heels and feeling pretty at a wedding just because I’m not model thin?! I shouldn’t! And while I kind of hate that a 10/12 is considered plus size… oh well… those are just words and I for one am thankful that they are making gorgeous dresses for those of us who are all about our Bass… cause dis Momma got curves!

This is the inspiration I have put together so far for myself- I’m still pondering over the shoes- but I love that this dress is simple, but also brings in the interest at the bottom with the almost watercolor looking print!  Pin Below for Sources later:

Corals, mints, greys, and pinks are it colors right now and I am happy to get on board!

I found a ton of dresses I loved at Nordstrom online and am glad I have some time to decide and also some time to possibly get a bit of a tan… cause I’m afraid I could bring planes down with the reflection off my white skin…
